Deborah Ann Duckworth

October 2, 1967 - February 15, 2011

Deborah Ann Duckworth, age 43, of Milton, passed into eternal life with the Lord on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, after a courageous battle against cancer at home with her family at her side.

Deborah was born on October 2 1967 to Peggy Mattingly and Donald Mould.

On June 29, 1991, she married Todd Duckworth in Janesville WI.

She was employed by Dean Health System in Janesville and Madison as a CMA in the Dermatology department for the past 10 years. She lived for her children and grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband Todd Duckworth and their 5 children, Heather Duckworth, Samantha Gambill (Robert), Jessica Riese (Jon), Sarah Lowe (Shubar) and Tiffany Duckworth,

Their eight Grandchildren, Andrew Duckworth, Rori & Wyatt Gambill, Alyssa Martin, Paige, Jade, Jeremiah and Camille Lowe, her mother Peggy Mattingly, father Donald Mould, sisters Bobbi Field (Chad), Deanna Slaughter, sister- in- law Kim Meyers (Doug), Michele Bender (Rick), father -in-law Leonard Duckworth (Deanna), many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother – in –law Donna Duckworth and her grandmother Carmen Mattingly.

We want to thank the Oncology staff of Dean Health Care, Dr. Khuu , her special caregivers Taryn and Cindy. To Dr. Wang for all she did for us, and Dennis for his compassion towards her throughout the last four years, working with her and helping her continue to work thru this difficult struggle. Your kindness and friendship will never be forgotten, nor can it ever be repaid.

To the staff of Hospice Care, who helped us thru the last few weeks, and showed us all how to care for Deb, and allow us to follow her wishes for her final days with us. Your services are a godsend to us and our community.

Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church 302 N Parker Drive Janesville with the Reverend Bond Haldeman officiating on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at Henke Clarson Funeral Home 1010 N Wright Road, Janesville on February18, 2011 from 4-7 pm.


Memorials may be made in her Honor to The Janesville Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society or Hospice Care Inc.
